    "textoCompleto" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSections"><p id="par0005" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">La mayor parte de nosotros nos hicimos m&#233;dicos repitiendo el mantra&#58; &#171;Herpes simple tipo 1 &#40;VHS-1&#41;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>herpes orolabial&#59; herpes simple tipo 2 &#40;VHS-2&#41;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>herpes genital&#187;&#46; Pero con el paso del tiempo hemos aprendido que esto no siempre es as&#237;&#44; y cada vez es m&#225;s habitual identificar herpes simple tipo 1 en localizaciones anogenitales&#44; como describen Magdaleno et al&#46; en un estudio observacional en una unidad de infecciones de transmisi&#243;n sexual en Valencia<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0020"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a>&#44; en el que en un 47&#44;3&#37; de herpes genitales se identific&#243; VHS-1&#44; siendo a&#250;n m&#225;s frecuente en el subgrupo de mujeres &#40;59&#44;3&#37;&#41;&#46; Adem&#225;s&#44; las mujeres con herpes genital por VHS-1 fueron m&#225;s j&#243;venes que las que ten&#237;an VHS-2 &#40;26 vs&#46; 34 a&#241;os&#44; respectivamente&#59; p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#44;015&#41; y los cuadros por VHS-2 se asociaban m&#225;s a recurrencias que los provocados por VHS-1&#46;</p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Los estudios m&#225;s recientes estiman que la seroprevalencia global de VHS-2 es de &#60;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>10&#37; en la poblaci&#243;n de Europa&#44; Mediterr&#225;neo oriental&#44; Sudeste asi&#225;tico y regiones del Pac&#237;fico occidental&#44; y parece que est&#233; disminuyendo en los &#250;ltimos a&#241;os en nuestro &#225;mbito<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0025"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#46; Por otra parte&#44; otros estudios confirman el hecho de que el VHS-1 es a d&#237;a de hoy el agente implicado con mayor frecuencia en episodios de primoinfecci&#243;n por herpes genital&#44; en pa&#237;ses occidentales&#44; especialmente en mujeres y hombres que tienen sexo con hombres&#44; de menos de 25 a&#241;os<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0030"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a>&#46; Como consecuencia de la disminuci&#243;n en la seroprevalencia del VHS-1&#44; se plantea el escenario en el que adolescentes y adultos j&#243;venes puedan experimentar una primera exposici&#243;n al VHS-1 coincidiendo con la iniciaci&#243;n de la actividad sexual&#46; Esta circunstancia&#44; junto al aumento de las pr&#225;cticas orogenitales sin protecci&#243;n&#44; pueden contribuir a explicar este incremento de la prevalencia del VHS-1 como agente etiol&#243;gico del herpes genital en detrimento del VHS-2&#44; con implicaciones no solo en la epidemiolog&#237;a de la enfermedad&#44; sino tambi&#233;n en el pron&#243;stico de la misma&#44; ya que parece que el VHS-1 se asocia a una menor tasa de recurrencias&#46;</p></span>"

    "textoCompleto" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSections"><p id="par0005" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">La mayor parte de nosotros nos hicimos m&#233;dicos repitiendo el mantra&#58; &#171;Herpes simple tipo 1 &#40;VHS-1&#41;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>herpes orolabial&#59; herpes simple tipo 2 &#40;VHS-2&#41;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>herpes genital&#187;&#46; Pero con el paso del tiempo hemos aprendido que esto no siempre es as&#237;&#44; y cada vez es m&#225;s habitual identificar herpes simple tipo 1 en localizaciones anogenitales&#44; como describen Magdaleno et al&#46; en un estudio observacional en una unidad de infecciones de transmisi&#243;n sexual en Valencia<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0020"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a>&#44; en el que en un 47&#44;3&#37; de herpes genitales se identific&#243; VHS-1&#44; siendo a&#250;n m&#225;s frecuente en el subgrupo de mujeres &#40;59&#44;3&#37;&#41;&#46; Adem&#225;s&#44; las mujeres con herpes genital por VHS-1 fueron m&#225;s j&#243;venes que las que ten&#237;an VHS-2 &#40;26 vs&#46; 34 a&#241;os&#44; respectivamente&#59; p<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>&#61;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>0&#44;015&#41; y los cuadros por VHS-2 se asociaban m&#225;s a recurrencias que los provocados por VHS-1&#46;</p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Los estudios m&#225;s recientes estiman que la seroprevalencia global de VHS-2 es de &#60;<span class="elsevierStyleHsp" style=""></span>10&#37; en la poblaci&#243;n de Europa&#44; Mediterr&#225;neo oriental&#44; Sudeste asi&#225;tico y regiones del Pac&#237;fico occidental&#44; y parece que est&#233; disminuyendo en los &#250;ltimos a&#241;os en nuestro &#225;mbito<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0025"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a>&#46; Por otra parte&#44; otros estudios confirman el hecho de que el VHS-1 es a d&#237;a de hoy el agente implicado con mayor frecuencia en episodios de primoinfecci&#243;n por herpes genital&#44; en pa&#237;ses occidentales&#44; especialmente en mujeres y hombres que tienen sexo con hombres&#44; de menos de 25 a&#241;os<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0030"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a>&#46; Como consecuencia de la disminuci&#243;n en la seroprevalencia del VHS-1&#44; se plantea el escenario en el que adolescentes y adultos j&#243;venes puedan experimentar una primera exposici&#243;n al VHS-1 coincidiendo con la iniciaci&#243;n de la actividad sexual&#46; Esta circunstancia&#44; junto al aumento de las pr&#225;cticas orogenitales sin protecci&#243;n&#44; pueden contribuir a explicar este incremento de la prevalencia del VHS-1 como agente etiol&#243;gico del herpes genital en detrimento del VHS-2&#44; con implicaciones no solo en la epidemiolog&#237;a de la enfermedad&#44; sino tambi&#233;n en el pron&#243;stico de la misma&#44; ya que parece que el VHS-1 se asocia a una menor tasa de recurrencias&#46;</p></span>"
