    Citation Excerpt :

In a survey carried out in the United States that aimed to evaluate competences in the management of vulvar diseases among medical students, and dermatology and gynecology residents, only 19% of those surveyed reported having received specific training during residency.5 Although there has been a growing interest among dermatologists in the study of the vulva in recent years6,7 – particularly among dermatologists in the United Kingdom, which is one of the leading countries to develop specific units dedicated to treating diseases of the vulva – there are currently few scientific studies on the matter. Consequently, the objective of this study is to describe our experience as dermatologists in the management of vulvar dermatosis consultations.
